Jessica graduated in
Dentistry from
Karolinska Institute in
Stockholm, Sweden, in
1998. She then worked
a year as a general
dental practitioner in
Bournemouth, UK.
In 1999 she started
working at the
Department of
Orthodontics at the
Karolinska Institute,
where she took part in
the Orthodontic
training of the
undergraduate dental students. She also did research
for the Orthodontic Department and the Plastic Surgery
Department at the Karolinska Institute in the field of
cleft lip and palate.
In 2001, she joined the three year postgraduate
orthodontic programme at the Karolinska Institute. In
2003 she was awarded a Masters degree in Odontology.
After gaining her Certificate of Specialisation in
Orthodontics, Jessica returned in 2004 to the UK, to
work at Eastdale Clinic in Guildford and Epsom
Orthodontic Practice in Epsom.
Since 2008 Jessica runs her own practices in Stockholm.
At both these practices she sees both children and adult patients.
Jessica believes in the importance of a very strong cooperation and dialogue with the patient.
- To fully understand what the patient wants to achieve with his/her smile.
- To set the goal of treatment together with the patient.
- To work together to achieve that goal.
